Primary Case:Parking Limitations-Shortages


Traffic congestion can occur because visitors/tourists are driving around looking for parking spaces. Images 1 and 2 show full parking lots at different Federal lands.

The possible solutions to address this issue includes: building more infrastructure (parking spaces), using ITS to indicate where parking is available, or using policies and/or transit to reduce the demand for parking spaces.
