Congestion Mitigation Partnerships

General Description:
Congestion Mitigation Partnering is an ad hoc, informal, or institutionalized collaboration among the public agencies, private firms, and other entities that own, operate, or have influence upon the transportation systems that make up an area’s transportation network. These "partners" will vary depending on the jurisdictions, the transportation patterns, the nature of the infrastructure and available transportation services. Often, the concepts under this solution are referred to as traffic demand management or TDM.
