General Description:

Visitor Centers are locations where visitors can obtain information about an area.  Considerations should be taken to provide information that can be read or heard by all people.  Visitors may need large-type or language-specific material in order to understand information.  Kiosks may be implemented as an informational source at visitor centers or by themselves in place of a visitor center.

Visitor Centers may assist in managing a system’s efficiency by notifying visitors of alternate routes, construction events, or other information that may assist them in planning their trip.
