General Description:
Offsite Visitor Information are brochures, signs, or maps that notify motorists en route to a destination about travel information that may be useful in route selection, construction activities, fees, and other pertinent details. Rest areas and gas stations are good locations for information about a particular destination. Some locations may be suitable for informational Kiosks in addition to brochures and maps. The cost of providing Offsite Visitor Information may be minimal if brochures and maps have previously been developed. However, the cost of creating the information, and depending upon how often it is updated, may increase the costs of providing information.
