Automated Gate Access (includes AVI)

General Description:
Automated Gate Access is a type of access control that allows entry and exit to an area through the use of a credit card key, remote control or transponder. This system may be used for security purposes, general access, or any circumstance where visitors or unauthorized people must be separated from employees. Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) may also be used to activate a secure gate system.

Gate access allows for a secure entrance/exit point and may remove employees from the traffic stream.

The cost for gate systems begins around $1,000 for a simple swinging gate and controllers. Systems capable of accommodating multiple users will be significantly more expensive.
