General Description:

Entrance/Exit meters are used to detect and count vehicles entering and exiting parking facilities.  They are typically used in a Parking Monitoring System that determines inflows and outflows and informs motorists with Variable Message Signs (VMS) of available parking locations.

¨     Manage System Efficiency

¨     Reduce Local Demand

 

Entrance/Exit Meters are not a solution in themselves.  They must be used with other equipment in order to be effective.
