Resources
The cross-functional teams within CFLHD perform the tasks that result in balanced, safe, and innovative roadways that blend into or enhance the existing environment. This section offers helpful resources for several of these functional areas.
Project Management
To manage fluctuating program levels CFLHD restructured to become a Strong Matrix Organization. As an extension of that restructuring effort, CFLHD began implementing a comprehensive Project Management program to facilitate proactive project management and fiscal accountability to ensure successful project completion. CFLHD manages projects from cradle to grave following the five process groups established by the Project Management Institute's (PMI's) Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. This provides CFLHD with the capacity to respond to a fluctuating program environment and optimize the usage of resources (internal and external) to manage program delivery in an efficient and effective manner.
