The anticipated opening of the road is late in the week of January 25th, hopefully by Thursday. Crews continue to work to produce a stable slope that would allow traffic to pass safely. Please check back here or call the hotline at 1-877-Hyampom for updated information.

****January 21, 2010****

Due to the continued bad weather and some more material that has come down off of the slope we are now anticipating that the road will be closed unitl Monday, January 25th. Please check back here or call the hotline at 1-877-Hyampom for updated information.

****January 19, 2010****

Latest update on rock slide. A rock slide occurred last week that has caused the closure of the roadway. Due to very unstable conditions of the slope above the road the closure will remain in effect until that hazard can be mitigated by the construction crews. At this time it is anticiapted that the road will be opened on Friday, January 22nd.

30-MINUTE MAXIUM DELAYS WITH FLAGGERS AND/OR PILOT CAR: Mon-Sat from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

ROADWAY OPEN, NO WORK: Sundays, Federal Holidays & Special Events**

NIGHT WORK: Currently the contractor has not scheduled any night time work.

**SPECIAL EVENTS INCLUDE: Tri. Co. Fair, Hayfork High Homecoming (Oct. 9th), Hyampom Good Times Fair, Hyampom Pie Auction. Citizens may request FHWA to provide openings for other specific special weekend events.
