Welcome to Central Federal Lands Highway Division
The Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD) operates as part of the Federal Lands Highway Program, serving the needs of all central states. CFLHD actively administers the surveying, designing and construction of forest highway system roads, parkways and park roads, Indian reservation roads, defense access roads, and other Federal lands roads. CFLHD also provides training, technology, deployment, engineering services, and products to our customers.
CFL roads serve recreational travel and tourism, protect and enhance natural resources, provide sustained economic development in rural areas, and provide needed transportation access for Native Americans.
Colorado Flood Information
During the week of September 11th, 2013, a storm producing heavy rains stalled over Colorado causing widespread flooding along the Colorado Front Range and Eastern Plains. CFLHD has formed a Rapid Response Team that is working with federal, state, and local authorities to assess the damage and formulate plans of action to provide relief.
